Data Center 'Gak' BI
Brand identity
Data Center 'Gak' is the space storing a vast digital data of NAVER, the largest portal site in Korea. 'Gak' (阁) with the meanings of house or place in Chinese character was inspired from “Scriptures Storage House” (Gyu Jang Gak), which has been a Korean historical building to preserve Buddha's scriptures or wood block scriptures. 'Gak' also means angle and reflects the form of the brand mark and visualizes the „Chest of Data” (柜) to store the valuable information and knowledge safely. The black-and-white toned cube expresses the will of safe storage and visualizes the digital data, and is to be switched and applied to various geometric patterns.
