White Peony (white tea variety) belongs to one of the six major types of white tea in China. It is mainly produced in Nanping Municipal He County, Songxi County, Jianyang City, Ningde City, Fuding City and Zherong County in Fujian Province, China. Famous historical tea in Fujian Province. Because of its green leaves with silver-white hearts, shaped like flowers, green leaves hold tender buds after brewing, just like buds in the beginning, so it is known as white peony.
