The DB Communicator is the new unified, modular platform that fundamentally transforms the fragmented workflow of train staff. It serves as the technological basis for two mobile applications: DAB (DB Fernverkehr) and RIS-Communicator (DB Regio). Its core mission is to empower the entire train crew by consolidating 30+ critical tasks and tools into a single, modern app. By dynamically adapting to each user's role and operational context, the application enables easy communication and collaboration between train crews, boosts operational efficiency at every step, and significantly enhances the passenger service experience.
