Hard drive carrier

Dell Inc. Experience Design Group

Hard Disc Drives (HDD) contain valuable data as part of a server hardware system and should be engineered to be well protected. The new Dell PowerEdge 2.5 inch drive carrier was designed to be extremely robust with die cast rails, a plastic front bezel, and a Nickel-plated die cast latch handle for long-life usage in the enterprise-class data center environments. It is hot swappable and features user touch-point colors to convey the location and actuation of push button release mechanisms. It was designed to scale across all Dell enterprise product categories, including PowerEdge servers, and PowerVault storage systems.
