Design communication process

Design communication process was developed to convey an undistorted design philosophy and story in the phases of design, product planning, marketing and consumers. The Design Story Toolkit visualized this story, and comprises a book, picture, and image pack. The toolkit has been conveyed to all SAMSUNG Electronics’ overseas corporations, making a holistic brand identity possible by publicizing globally a consistent design message and image through offline media including exhibition, advertisement, catalog and display signboard and online media such as SNS and Youtube, press conferences and news articles.

iF GOLD STATEMENT

The Design Story Toolkit manages to introduce the washing machine to the user in a particularly poetic and at the same time multi-medial way. With the Design Story Toolkit, a communication process is created which is very elegantly and professionally solved, both in terms of tactile and visual qualities. The project is an exceptional example showing that good design plays a central role on all levels.
