The New DESIGN/D3 – Minimum Weight, Maximum Design. MARKUS T stands for extremely light glasses - 100% handmade in Germany in our very own factory. The new D3 is minimalistic and delicate. The shapes and colors give it a modern appearance. Full Rim, Top Rim and Double Bridge styles have been developed from a 1 mm thin titanium wire and with a new screwless hinge. Stabilised titanium is the base material for the fronts. TMi, the antiallergenic synthetic of the temples developed by MARKUS T, is light, flexible and sturdy. Can it be recycled? Of course, 100%! With less than 4 g, the D3 is one of the lightest and most comfortable glasses ever.
iF Gold Statement
Its almost not there, but whats certainly there is a great deal of excellent design, also in the form of fascinating understatement: minimal use of materials has resulted in equally minimal weight for this frame. The screwless hinges are superb as is the appealing color concept: a consistently applied approach and a perfect result.
