Designreportage: Russland/Moskau und Spanien/Barcelona

Book

The “Designreportage Spain/Barcelona” and “Designreportage Russia/Moscow” grant on the basis of personal interviews with local designers an authentic and realistic insight into current Spanish and Russian communication design. The design reporter takes the reader along on a journey: he accompanies designers of three generations in their working and living environment, deals with their work and the conditions that influence them. The historical and cultural context invites to reflect upon topics such as the history, culture and locations of design. The “Designreportage” is conceived as a book series, focusing on countries that were politically, economically or socially isolated for a long time and are in a dynamic development process today. Thus, the book series offers an international comparison of typical national visual language and regional characteristics.
