Exhibition

The literature exhibition is devoted to two subjects which were of essential importance to the title-giving author Annette von Droste-Hülshoff: travel and landscape. Designed as a traveling exhibition, scenographic and spatial scenes make the exhibition landscapes emotionally accessible: oversized books with pop-ups meet the visitors and make them part of poetic landscapes. Travel companions in form of contoured cut-outs come across on the passage between the scenes and tell their stories. As a highlight at the end of the exhibition the visitors can immerse themselves in the virtual reality of an animated text by Droste via VR glasses.
