Surgical robots

Dessight MikroElena consists of five parts: instrument actuator, control trolley, main control joystick, foot pedal, and base controller. It is based on core technologies such as high-speed and low-latency control algorithm, micro-force sensing, and iOCT intelligent navigation. With the technical advantages including personalized medical and engineering integration, multi-degree-of-freedom based on master-slave control, and original flexible mechanism, the robot can achieve 3 micron motion accuracy. The proposed robotic system can be used to assist surgeon to perform retinal diseases with better precision and clinical outcome.
