High performance chiseling hammer 7kg class

Black & Decker GmbH

D 25840K is a chiseling hammer in the 7kg class with an output of 1300 Watts. This is the best in power to weight ratio. This hammer is used for chiseling work in brick/masonry and for medium duty in concrete. With 14 joules of impact energy the hammer mechanism is the strongest of its class. Furthermore bit positioning in 24 rests provides another key advantage for users. Visually dominant in the design is the weight-reducing magnesium gear housing. The sculptural and powerful appearance is deduced from the concurrent effort of achieving greatest compactness and mechanical robustness. D 25840K meets the new European directive 2002/44/EC describing maximum arm and hand vibration. Three assemblies effect that: The patented spring guided flywheel mass filters vibrations in the main housing. The patented parallel guidance of handle (2 elastomeric bellows) provides reduced handle vibrations. Additionally, the specifically engineered elastomeric handles protect vibration transition to hands.
