ZDF – Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen

The 10 episodes of the ZDF documentary THE GERMANS revive 1,000 years of German history. An accompanying extensive and interactive Flash application makes it possible to travel through the changeful history of the Germans. All episodes are available as different short trailers and can also be viewed in full length. In addition historic maps and interviews with experts stand by. All these components can be experienced by the user by using the so-called "time slider" to navigate through the episodes, interviews and maps, which are arranged chronological and in 3D on a baseline grid.
