The Philips Digital MammoDiagnost is a dedicated digital X-ray system for breast imaging. It also can be used for biopsies in case the diagnoses showed a risk of cancer. The digital mammography system is an all-round system equipped for every mammography task, including high volume screening diagnostics with special views and spot magnification interventions such as stereotactic bipsies. With MammoDiagnost and its modular system family for optimized setups, all examinations and even treatments can be performed at one location, therefore saves space. Soft and round shapes make the patients feel less threatened by the technicality of the system.
