Philips Design has developed Dimi, a working prototype of a product that acts as a smart companion. Dimi is a consumer product optimized for interaction with humans that exhibits a true personality. Abandoning the idea that people must adapt to technology, Dimi delivers human-like user interface technology that allows users to interact in a natural way through speech, vision and language. Dimi provides an easy and intuitive way to experience digital media, sharing experiences through messages, access everyday information, and to control the little important actions within the home.
