DISINFECTION

Bus disinfection ring

One of the surfaces most likely to transmit infection in public transportation is the rings that standing passengers hold onto for balance. This disinfection device is a timely innovation designed to remove this source of disease transmission. The device automatically detects when one passenger leaves and activates UV disinfection.

JURY STATEMENT

Public transportation has proven to be one of the infection flashpoints in the Covid-19 pandemic. Yet so many people rely on its use in their daily lives that locking it down represents a drastic step. In this concept, the aim is to help prevent the spread of coronavirus or other highly infectious disease.
