The future of leatherette for car interior. The Display Skin is made of the same material as a conventional thermo-formable leather-emboss finish for dashboards, but has a special quality. It is made up of a translucent, light-transmitting material which allows intuitive information display. It can serve to show information about interactive driving information such as weather, navigation and car status that can be manipulated by fingers and touch sensors. Practical application is in development jointly with car producers and is aimed to be in production in 2016.
