Disposable Feeding Cup for Emergency
Feeding Cup for Disasters and Emergencies
Pigeon CorporationSevere earthquakes are a fact of life in Japan, and in their aftermath nursing bottles are needed to keep babies safe until government relief arrives three days later. When our product monitoring tests revealed that babies strongly rejected cheap, disposable artificial nipples they were unaccustomed to, we turned our attention to cup feeding, often recommended as a temporary solution during times of disaster. Feeding babies from cups designed for adults has its own challenges, but we resolved these to develop an entirely new feeding cup with a unique design tailored to the characteristic mouth movements babies use to drink.
