The website of Die Krieger des Lichts (DKdL) brings the apparent contradictions of bureaucratic retro design and a high-tech usability and navigation concept in line. The design of the website is working with the adversities of the Internet, not against them. The basis of the page layout consists of a grid in which all elements – even the DKdL‘s logo – are placed randomly. Only the menu is in a fixed position and adds an element of structure to the creative chaos. The integrated blog mainly communicates DKdL’s personal interests and favors and is connected to social media tools like Facebook.
