Residential interior

Her Guang Interior Design Co., Ltd.

Central to the concept of wabi-sabi is a minimalist aesthetic that embraces the naturalistic, the rustic, the imperfect. Opened the space up allowed the designers to give the dining room a dual use as a reading nook flanked by a bookshelf built into the wall dividing the dining room from the master bedroom. A foldable glass door can separate the reading room from all other spaces without blocking any of the natural light. No longer are the rooms dark and mutually isolated but tied together by shared space, light, and a rich, wooden interior.
