Usagido

DOCU is a project that aims for the "three-way" approach to forestry, welfare (employment support), and design. Kuma Zorin, a 150-year-old forestry company in Ehime Prefecture, Shikoku, known for its high-quality timber, Usagi-Do, a welfare facility that operates a woodworking business, and designers and architects will collaborate to develop products using local cypress and cedar trees. We learned from and designed the process of tree clearing and sawing, the latest woodworking machinery, and work support.
