The can design for the Dong You Ji craft beer draws its inspiration from the Journey to the West legend. The can's dense graphics represent the four characters and scenery of the Journey to the West. Storytelling is the key component of this packaging concept, an effort to make the product stand out from others in the same category through the use of Chinese cultural references that are both aesthetic but also humorous.
