Double-shift.org is a web documentary on public schooling for Syrian refugee children in Jordan. It is designed to inform a general worldwide audience about a specific topic in an easily accessible, multi-layered, engaging, and visual way. Emerging as an interdisciplinary research project where designers and economists worked together, the website combines science and design, hard facts, and emotional impact: starting with the macro view, zooming ever deeper into the micro situation on the ground of public schooling, down to the level of individual students and their hopes and dreams.
