Double Space for BMW

Installation

BMW Group Design

The installation “Double Space for BMW – Precision & Poetry in Motion” is the result of a partnership with the British design duo Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby. It epitomizes the new leitmotif of BMW Design’s philosophy “Precision and Poetry” – a fusion of the esthetics of precision with the grace of poetry. The structure of the installation comprises two reflecting bodies of polished aluminum, which rotate around an axis, poetically choreographed opening up new perspectives. The result is an experience that reflects the paintings, spaces and visitors in the Raphael Court at the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A).
