Dräger Safety Projektarium

Challenge: As a permanent showroom for Dräger the topic safety services is to be presented within a limited space to be experienced interactively. Idea: A new spatial interface uncovers invisible hazards and presents solutions. Realization: The inner walls of the rotund room show the outline of a 360° panorama. An upright monitor can be moved in front of it. Like an X-Ray screen it shows the respective detail as a real image. There is a chance to hold and listen to an audio-visual animation, which informs of a topic in sound and vision, at four positions.
Built Identity - selected by Achim Nagel This concept is a beautiful implementation of ‘enhanced reality’. Reduced to essentials, the drawing is animated by the monitor, thus providing visitors with an interactive experience of the hidden safety aspects. The ‘Projectarium’ is not only informative but also provides a special spatial experience, thus putting the usually neglected theme of safety into focus.
