Dragon Bridge
Installation
The project is located three kilometers away from the mouth of the Yangtze River in Nantong. The Dragon Bridge is composed of 6,800 similar hexagonal copper plates. Through the parametric processing of a part of a dragon, each copper plate was adjusted to a certain angle to form a sense of dynamic motion. The copper plates feature different colors and finishes, and because of the uprising spiral structure of the bridge, the whole installation suggests a vigorous vitality. Besides aesthetic and structural achievements, it is a design that also encourages user interaction. Anyone visiting the project cannot wait to step on the bridge and explore further.
