Research magazine

The Ruprecht Karls University of Heidelberg is Germany’s oldest university and an important research center. Its "Ruperto Carola" research magazines explore the tension between tradition and modern times. Each issue investigates a pair of topics relevant to society today. The university tagline "The future since 1386" inspires the opposites which shape content and design. The fifth edition focuses on the opposite »Outside & Inside«. One surprising feature of the »Outside & Inside« issue is how these opposites are translated into the magazine design – with an egg on the cover and the editorial bathed in the color yellow.
