Smart dryer for hearing aids

Hearing aids are worn in or behind the ear. Due to the capillary effect, body secretions penetrate the hearing aids through the small openings and the moisture can damage the sensitive electronics in the hearing aids and lead to failures. Daily drying is therefore unavoidable but also time-consuming and usually takes place overnight. The latest generation of hearing aids now work with integrated rechargeable batteries, which have to be recharged overnight. The dry-cap uv 4® is the first smart drying cap that enables drying, hygiene and charging of rechargeable hearing aids and in-ear devices at the same time.
