The Dual Antenna is a RFID tag reading device. With the device it is possible to read out different kinds of RFID transponders, which are an important part of documenting reprocessing of flexible endoscopes in the examination room and in the reprocessing procedure. The data can be transmitted to a compatible product which combines the data with other information relevant for reprocessing and forwards it to an external database system. The device is a handheld and tabletop instrument in one – to read the information, the transponder needs to be placed in front of the RFID symbol instead of entering ID and password manually.
