Dudu kit

Educational aid

Many children still do not have the opportunity to go to school, and many elementary school children live in conflict-affected areas. Children subject to poverty, labor and war need basic education as well as mental health care. Using eco-friendly techniques, Dudu kits support children’s education and mental wellbeing through art activities.

JURY STATEMENT

Dudu is an ecologic pen that uses leaves as a natural dye. This design follows an environmental and sustainable approach and is intended for art and education. Packaging details as well as the pen body, rubber head and hook are all designed as parts of a whole. The design approach creates a positive experience and the target group: children who do not have the chance to attend school. This product responds to the following UN Sustainable Goals: Goal 7 Affordable and Clean Energy, Goal 4 Quality Education, and Goal 10 Reduced Inequalities.

WINNER STATEMENT

It's my honor to accept this award. It motivates me to keep working on projects that contribute to virtuous cycles.
