Virtual reality packaging

Meetson

This molded pulp packaging is designed for virtual reality experiences. The designer began this project with the hope that everybody around the world would be able to experience vivid VR at a low cost. All parts except the lenses can be made from old newspapers, recycled cardboard and recyclable paper. Not only the low material costs and process simplification but also the dual structure allows for easy assembly without glues. The packaging also allows for stacking a plurality of VR viewers to reduce transportation costs, and gives an effect of preventing environmental pollution by using a single material that can be recycled.
