Bachelor Degree project

This Bachelor Degree project was developed in response to the assignment “Information Design: Brazilian Themes“. The proposal defined information design as straightforward approach to presenting data, giving priority to procedures that facilitated easy comprehension and supporting people in making decisions or monitoring processes that influence their lives. The project consists of a digital atlas of thematic maps and a connected online database that contribute to the user’s comprehension of the relationship between society and nature in Rio de Janeiro. The goal was to design an interface that would systematize the visualization of complex data, coherently organizing the content and providing a comparison of correlated themes in multiple combinations, together with a visual, cartographic and statistical representation adjusted to the respective content.
