Economy Museum

Exhibit

With its new permanent exhibition, the Economy Museum in Stockholm shifts its emphasis from the simple showcasing of coins to telling the history of money and the economy in Sweden. This interactive museum aims to explain the principles of the economy as part of Sweden’s aim of increasing economic literacy among citizens for a more active and economically engaged society. The exhibition's first part is a journey through Swedish economic history from the Middle Ages to the present with objects, audio stories, and games. The second part of the museum creates a highly flexible and interactive space, with the visitors as its main protagonists.
