ECORU Togoshi

Environmental Learning Exchange Facility

This community-based environmental learning exchange facility treats education about global environmental challenges as a direct extension of daily life. Situated in green Togoshi Park, the building uses environmentally friendly technologies like geothermal heating and solar power and is the first publicly owned building in Tokyo to be certified Nearly ZEB. Parents and children who represent our future visit this facility and develop a familiarity with its infrastructure. It is a platform for a new type of museum-driven communication stimulating continuous thinking, questioning and action for a vision of an environmentally connected world.
