eCycle®

eCycle® is a proprietary blend of 100% recycled food grade polypropylene (PP), made from 25% post-consumer food safe sourced material such as yogurt or ice cream containers. PP is primarily used for applications which require great strength combined with extreme temperature resistance. Using recycled PP for direct food contact surfaces requires a very high level of purity and consistency in the sourcing/manufacturing process. We distribute recycled PP at this scale globally while complying with both FDA (Food and Drug Administration, Rockville) and EU regulations. In the first year of introduction PMI has used over 500.000 kg of the new eCycle® which consists of 100% recycled plastic materials.
