Edn. Sexual Education

App

Edn is an app that increases the efficacy of sexual education programs for teenagers. The app encourages users (aged 14+) to take control of their sex lives based on health, desire, and pleasure. In Mexico, sexual education has always been a controversial topic. The main problem is that it hasn't been properly addressed. Today most educational organizations approach this issue with a limited amount of information, believing that many topics should be kept secret. Sexual education is not only about knowledge, it's also about feelings and desires.

JURY STATEMENT

This is a very well executed design concept, focusing on a major pain point in our global education systems. The design ensures engagement of teenagers and the delivery of correct information through a trusted channel. The design not only promises to reduce the incidence of STDs or teenage pregnancy, it also aims to help young people develop healthy and empathetic sexual relationships.

WINNER STATEMENT

We are beyond excited to see our ideas transcend frontiers and be shared among other talented designers who believe in the power of what design can do.
