The third generation EeePC has a new Seashell design language. The complete shape is elegant, smooth, and slim; pearl, metallic and gradient color choices emphasize the Eee attributes: easy to learn, work and play. 1008 is the thinnest netbook with a 2.5 HDD at only 25.7 mm. It has a beautifully designed bottom surface which is smooth to handle, while the IO ports are hidden with doors. 1005 and 1101 have a long running time of 10.5 to 12 hours for one day computing. A seamless touchpad, large keyboard with redesigned keycaps provides comfort and control. 1008 has a unique VGA adapter and LAN port which ensures a slim shape and convenience.
