Power add-on drive for manual wheelchairs
Innovative technology for more mobility stands for the power add-on kit e·fix by Alber, whose consistent lightweight construction is marked by a smooth and filigree design. Nearly every manual wheelchair the variety reaches from paediatric wheelchairs to chairs for special care can be retrofitted with e·fix. The user can propel his own customized wheelchair either electrically or manually just by uncoupling the motors. Each of e·fix four components weighs no more than 9 kg. Simply taken off by quick releases they provide for an easy transport of the wheelchair in the car. The fourth generation of this drive concept shows clearly that power add-ons are well established on the market due to a higher comfort and an enlarged operating range for the wheelchair driver.
