This design is appropriate to absolute top-of-the-line products. Through its beauty and clear visibility on the binary LCD screen, the sumi-e style icon expresses both the products originality and commitment to fine cooking. A coherent and intelligent flexible mental model was deployed, resulting in a small number of routine procedures (important for normal usage) and easy-to-understand operation for more complex procedures (important for creative usage). This approach mirrors the users own pluralistic thought patterns.
