Visang’s elementary school math textbooks are play and activity-oriented to bring engaging learning to Korean students. The primary goal is to demonstrate how math can enhance a student's daily life by treating it as a form of play. Content and images were planned to organically foster a student's comprehension of principles and concepts. Accessible illustrations present familiar material and situations that allow for math solving based on realistic instances in the students’ lives. These methods help elementary school students new to math get over their fear of the subject and develop curiosity and a sense of achievement in mathematics.
