Elixyr

The bowl is probably the oldest functional object and the spoon one of our oldest tools an extension of the hand. Elixyr is a combination of both: it includes a wide range of articles with a kind of handle that seems to grow out of them. They are easy to handle, to carry, to hold. The handle at the plates' sides allows for uncomplicated and hygienic serving. Even the cups have twisted handles that help the thumb rest on it more comfortably than usual. Elixyr's shapes are fluid, they have straight edges and they depart from the symmetry: they create, for example when when combined on a buffet, completely new pictures on the table.
