EMBA is a footwear label which has been on the market since spring 2012 with its first series of summer shoes. EMBA shoes are manufactured in Italy using purely natural materials. The shoe upper is a meshed cotton fabric, which allows what is underneath to show through: an EMBA can therefore be re-interpreted again and again – for example, through the choice of sock color. EMBA’s corporate design takes up this principle: the logo consists of a mesh structure, which is lasered in print media. The background showing through gives the logo a continually different effect without losing its distinct brand identity.
