One of the most crucial safety factors in the event of a disaster such as a fire is the quality of infrastructure; the extent to which it facilitates or hinders speedy evacuation. This evacuation guidance UAV is designed to augment existing evacuation infrastructure. In the event of an emergency in a crowded outdoor venue, it uses images and sounds to quickly and efficiently guide people to safety.
Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs or drones) have found a variety of applications in the past two decades – though principally in the contrasting areas of military defense and photography.
