Redesigning the UI/UX of a Heart Lung Machine

The project involves redesigning the UX/UI of a heart-lung machine to enhance and increase the life-saving efficiency of this vital medical device. The designer spent 5 days witnessing surgeries in theater to understand the product, user, and context. Completely redesigned control panels support the user who is under intense cognitive load, to aid in emergency operations. It addresses existing problems with heart-lung machines and drastically reduces the treatment time where every second counts.
