JAM BASE
Creative Gathering Space
ORIX Real Estate Corporation
Part park, part building, JAM BASE is a new kind of co-creation space designed for unexpected encounters. It’s a collision zone with subtle spatial cues that help people meet and create together. Located in Grand Green Osaka, it welcomes everyone: from those in business and government to education, startups, and the arts. In Japan, innovation doesn’t always come easily, but JAM BASE was built to change that. Guided by three principles — Midori (nature), Yohaku (unfinished-ness), and Gocha-Gocha (Osaka’s jumbled-ness) — it acts as a living collective where activities overlap, connections form organically, and the space evolves with its people.
iF Gold Statement
Part park, part building, this vertical innovation hub redefines the urban workplace. JAM BASE is a co-creation space designed for innovation and unexpected encounters. By layering circulation and fostering spontaneous encounters, it transforms density into opportunity. Architecture thus becomes a catalyst for creativity. This is where great ideas collide – by ingenious design.
