Residential building

The special location of the building site—directly on the Isar, flanked by landmark buildings, opposite the Deutsches Museum and the Gärtnerplatz with its vibrant hustle and bustle in the background, provided ample reason to take an in-depth look at Munich's proud cityscape. The goal was to complement the historical boulevard with a pleasantly integrated, elegant, and, at the same time, identity-creating residential building as a cornerstone of the city block. The design elements of the neighboring historical façades with their diverse structures were scaled up and transformed with contemporary materials and design.
