The design goal was to develop a 100% antimicrobial washbasin, which would elegantly and subtly combine all the functional aspects of a hand-washing environment in healthcare, while at the same time meeting high esthetic standards. This ergonomic design concept increases awareness and understanding of the importance of hand washing as an effective way to prevent diseases and save lives, especially in hospitals and clinics where immune system risk is highest.
