Self-presentation EinKlang

Ueberholz GmbH

The concept is to depict “communication in architecture”. In a kind of basic research project, the media–sound, image, product and movement– are investigated. Incisions in large, solid blocks of natural stone turn them into instruments. Hitting the stones with a hammer produces sounds. The sound is amplified and interactively controls an LED wall. A dancer moves to a specially generated composition. Visitors can experience the theme of “communication” directly. This concept, which everyone can experience, reveals itself as something that fosters communication. Non-verbal communication such as music, dance and sculpture becomes a kind of conversation.
