Stadt Furth im Wald Kulturamt

The first exhibition in the newly established Landestormuseum illustrates historical events in and around the town of Furth im Wald, on both sides of the German-Czech border. “Border experiences” (bilingual exhibition) can be experienced interactively by locals and international visitors alike, with special consideration for youngsters. The exhibition’s innovative conceptual approach combines didactic objectives, artistic creativity, and philosophical examination. The aim of the EU-funded ETZ project is to give this town famous for the “Spearing of the Dragon” – Germany's oldest folk play – another unique attraction.
