Sunshine is crucial to human survival, and everyone needs a certain amount of sunlight. However, if one is exposed to the sun for too long, this may not only result in minor skin problems, but also in skin cancer or eye cataracts. We hope that through this interactive book, people can not only learn more about ultraviolet rays and sunburn protection, but will also become aware of how serious the issues related to extreme sunlight exposure are.

JURY STATEMENT

A great example of multi-sensorial design. A worthwhile educational piece which uses simple human interaction to convey the message of the damage caused by the sun's rays in an engaging way.

WINNER STATEMENT

At first, we couldn’t believe that we had won an iF STUDENT DESIGN AWARD 2016. We even thought that is was an April fool’s joke! We’re glad that we can show what we wanted to express. This award confirmed our work and it is the most valuable thing that has happened!
