At 425 horsepower, the F425A is the most powerful motor in Yamaha’s 4-stroke outboard lineup and the first 4-stroke model in the industry to feature gasoline direct injection as well as an integrated electric steering system. Yamaha engineered the design to maximize the advantages of its power, focusing on the smallest details for everything from the top case to the propeller. Besides performance, the serviceability of the unit has also been improved for greater user convenience. Lastly, Yamaha aimed to create a beautiful exterior design worthy of the ultimate outboard and Yamaha’s flagship model.
