The act of drawing or writing with a pencil is more than a process of simply recording or expressing. It is a ritual experience and a process to aid thought. As a tool for developing and expressing ideas, a pencil is stronger than the world’s weapons, theories or things of beauty. This work begins and ends with this idea. In these conceptual works, “a pencil” is reverently expressed as human imagination and thought.
